Multiple Texas Cities Are Sinking

A new study found with satellite analysis by Business Insider indicates that some of the largest cities in America are currently sinking.

The article states that the ground the beneath the cities is slowly sinking and deforming.

Additionally, that if cities don't do something about this land-sinking phenomenon, called subsidence, it could damage buildings and infrastructure. It's already driving flooding in many places.

Among the list of Texas cities that are sinking are Dallas, Fort Worth, El Paso, Austin, San Antonio, & Houston. With Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston sinking the quickest (4-6mm per year)
