President Trump reestablishing President Fitness Test

Earlier today, President Donald Trump signed an executive order reestablishing the Presidential Fitness Test across public schools in America.

The Presidential Fitness Test, initially established in 1956 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, is being revived by President Donald Trump through an executive order. The test, which was previously phased out in 2012, will be administered in public schools across the nation. The reintroduction of the test aims to address concerns about declining physical fitness among youth and promote a culture of strength and excellence.

The test, which has undergone revisions over the years, generally includes a one-mile run, a shuttle run, pull-ups or push-ups, sit-ups, and the sit-and-reach test.

A press release from the White House stated that "President Trump is addressing the widespread epidemic of declining health and physical fitnes."
