Trump Wants To Send American Troops Into Mexico

President Donald Trump confirmed over the weekend that he offered the President of Mexico to send American troops into Mexico to help combat the cartels and the illegal drug trade.

Mexican President Claudia Shienbaum also went on the record this weekend stating that President Trump did offer help, but that she enthusiastically declined his offer.

Trump expanded on the topic by stating the following about the cartels in Mexico:

“They are bad news,” he added. “If Mexico wanted help with the cartels, we would be honored to go in and do it. I told her that. I would be honored to go in and do it. The cartels are trying to destroy our country. They’re evil.”

He also stated that President Shienbaum is so afraid of the cartels that she can't even think straight.
